Barbara is highly experienced in Lean Six Sigma techniques having been selected as Lean Six Sigma Trainer for GE across Europe. She also coaches and mentors individuals and teams on Lean Six Sigma methods. She studied at London University and Henley Management College and has an MBA, having written her dissertation on the use of the EFQM model for strategic planning. Barbara moved to consultancy after a career of considerable breadth with the Information Technology supplier, International Computers Limited. .

- Lean Six Sigma consulting and training for a major Pharmaceutical company, a telecoms company and an NHS Trust
- Developing and delivering Lean Six Sigma training and MBB mentoring for an aerospace company.
- Lean Six Sigma consulting and training for a major UK retail chain.
- Developing and conducting the British Quality Foundation Lean Six Sigma certification process.
- Producing a framework for an aerospace company which enhances the EFQM model framework with Lean and Six Sigma specifics
- Running a series of EFQM based self assessment workshops for Board level management teams, including action prioritisation and project selection
