Mike's clients have included central and Local government, the armed forces, and a number of leading European organisations across a range of industries including aerospace, telecommunications and financial services; Mike has worked with top teams to evaluate organisational effectiveness, competitive positioning and strategic development.
Prior to joining Catalyst, Mike had a career of considerable breadth with British Telecommunications plc (BT). His senior management experience spans customer project management, product design, development, planning and provision, and operational service support.
Mike became involved with self-assessment against the European Model for Business Excellence as soon as it was created. After successfully leading several Divisions in BT to award winning level, Mike was given responsibility for Business Excellence across the whole BT, leading the newly created BT Centre for Business Excellence.
Mike has been a Senior Assessor for the UK Quality Award since 1994 and has also been an award assessor for the European Quality Award and the Rolls-Royce internal award process. He holds a BQF Open license for assessor training and he joined Catalyst Consulting Ltd in October 2000.
Recently Mike introduced and executed a customised programme of self-assessment for a leading international financial services company. |
